9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (half day program)
9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (full day program)

The kindergarten at Dulaney Day School is filled with opportunities to learn. The schedule is organized so all the “academics” take place in the morning hours between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. In the afternoon, the kindergarten program is enriched with our specialty teachers.

On Monday and Wednesday, the children delve in the world of art – from rediscovering paint, to masks and their magical powers, to the creation of their first canvas in the style of Van Gogh.

On Tuesday, music fills the air as the children learn about pitch, rhythm and dance.

On Thursday, there are classes on Fitness and nutrition – taking care of the body from the inside out. These classes alternate between physical movement and cooking from scratch.

On Friday, Spanish is on the tap, as the kindergartners learn not only conversational Spanish, but songs and history. All these programs expose our kindergarten children to style, composition and creativity.
